Stone wall ending in split boulder - a photo
To supplement the previous post, here is a clearer view of the split boulder where the wall terminates. That the wall leads right into the splot seems significant.

There is a famous split boulder with a stone wall emanating from it on Martha's Vineyard. The split boulder is called Waskosim’s Rock, and the stone wall extending from it, according to Wampanoag oral tradition, is called the, "Middle Line." The wall once separated Indian land from Mayhew land.
