Subject: [BullthistleHikers] Hike - Sunday 6 Nov 11 - Stone Piles, Ludlow Creek, Smithville
A historical experience awaits us on Sunday 6 November 2011. Another stone pile site was recently discovered by DEC foresters, Andy Goeller and Chris Sprague. This site is along the Ludlow Creek between Tucker and Stone Quarry Hill roads in the Town of Smithville. We will bushwhack to it (and, hopefully, from it). It is hunting season, so wear something orange or yellow. We will go about 5 miles.

I was able to see some of these cairns with Mr. Windsor recently, and they are beautiful! Lots of clear niches.
